ORX two-fer
The only reason you haven't picked up ORX yet is because you couldn't get a funky book and PDF deal?
Quit whining! IPR now has a great deal on just such a bundle --
and we promise it isn't "funky" in the sense that an orc carried it around in his undies for week.
Orcs don't wear undies.
A really gay ORX review
ORX was reviewed by Mad Pawn for Way-Out Wednesday at the Velvet Dicebag, and they loved it.
So, for a run-down of all the hot orc-on-orc action you can handle, go check it out.
ORX available from IPR
The orcs have invaded Indie Press Revolution
and set up camp.
For the moment, only the PDF is available. As raiding produces funds,
stock of the print will become available there as well.
ORX reviewed again
Second review, highlighting both the good and bad aspects of the
game. If you want a brief overview of the game and the presentation of
it, check out
the review
by Christopher Richeson on RPG.net. He doesn't like the
presentation, but he likes the game!
ORX print version arrived!
Head on over to the Purchase area for information on how to
order your own copy of the new print version!
ORX print version forthcoming
The orcs will soon be getting all physical with a nice new 6x9 book,
containing updated text and illustrations. Watch this space for more details!
ORX reviewed
First review, and a glowing, positive one at that. If you're
wondering what this game has in store for you, or you're on the fence
about buying it, don't miss
Kirt Dankmeyer's review of the game at
Gamerati.
ORX have arrived!
Lock your doors and windows, gird your sword, and hide the women and
children! That's right! The orcs are here! The first published version
of orcs is available for purchase as PDF via the official Orx website,
and will soon be made available from other on-line venues such as
RPGNow. A print version is in the works.
ORX in layout
After a ridiculous number of delays, the ORX document has now progressed
into layout. Expect a PDF version to be available within the month! A
print version is a possibility for a later time. Note that we are still
looking for illustrations for the book, and if you would like to
contribute, please contact us at
orx@daegmorgan.net.
ORX delayed
As was obvious from the promotion text on the front page of this website
claiming a springtime release, the publication of ORX has been seriously delayed. The reasons for
these delays involve various life issues affecting the writer, whose
resolutions take priority. The game will be released as soon as is
possible, but will be no later than the winter of this year. Check here for
updates, and thanks for your patience!
ORX at GenCon?
With feedback from the first few readers now in, ORX is undergoing a
final rewrite to clarify a few issues and streamline play. Unfortunately
due to this, ORX will not be making its premier at GenCon as was
originally planned.
ORX near, villagers panic!
An early April morning saw the release of the final draft version of
ORX for commentary by a couple of wise-guys with sharp eyes and pointy
heads. We're grateful! In celebration of this event, we're releasing the
draft chapter covering character creation for public perusal. Check it
out in the downloads section, and get ready to start raiding!
ORX is looking for illustrators!
Have talent? Talentless? We might not care!
Due to the author's limited time, ORX is soliciting for outside
illustrators to help flesh out the book. This is a non-paying gig,
perfect if you're just starting out and want to get your name out there.
Just send us a little note expressing your interest at
orx@daegmorgan.net.
No stick figures, please! (Unless they're orcish stick figures.)
ORX release announced!
In late November, the announcement came down from above, ORX as a
published product, updated and clarified from its web-based origins,
would see the light of day in the Spring of 2004. The exact date of
release is to be announced.
